How GEOCARA researches, reviews, and corrects content

GEOCARA publishes product education and Generative Engine Optimization guidance under a documented editorial standard. We distinguish measured product output from interpretation, prefer primary sources, identify the organization responsible for each article, disclose AI assistance, show publication or review dates, and correct material errors when reliable evidence demonstrates that a statement is inaccurate or outdated.

Evidence and source selection

Important technical claims should be supported by primary or authoritative material whenever it is publicly available. Our reference set includes the original Generative Engine Optimization research paper, Google Search Essentials, and the public Schema.org vocabulary. Vendor documentation is used for claims about a vendor's own product.

Secondary reporting can provide context, but it does not replace an available original source. Estimates, experiments, and inferences are labeled as such. A citation demonstrates where a statement came from; it does not imply that the source endorses GEOCARA or that a documented practice guarantees rankings or AI citations.

Authorship and AI assistance

Public articles are attributed to the GEOCARA Editorial Team when research, drafting, product knowledge, and review are collective. We do not invent a named expert or credential to increase perceived authority. A named individual author will be used only when that person takes responsibility for the work and their identity is relevant to the subject.

AI systems may assist with outlining, language refinement, extraction, or draft generation. Assistance does not transfer responsibility: factual claims, links, examples, product behavior, and conclusions must still be reviewed before publication. Automatically generated text that cannot be substantiated should be removed, qualified, or clearly presented as a hypothesis.

Updates, comparisons, and corrections

Pages display a publication or review date so readers can judge freshness. Material updates should revise the visible date and the structured `dateModified` value together. Commercial comparisons use stated criteria and should be revisited when pricing, capabilities, integrations, or public documentation changes. Paid relationships must not determine a factual conclusion.

To request a correction, email contact@geocara.com with the URL, disputed text, and supporting evidence. The team reviews material errors, broken or misleading citations, and outdated product statements. Minor style edits may be made without a notice; substantive corrections should be reflected in the updated page and review date.
